Can i depoy into spaces with other players?

Yes, you can deploy (Launch) ships into regions that are occupied by other players' ships.

On a first Launch (when you have no ships on the board), you may Launch to any unoccupied region. A region is considered occupied if it contains a raider or at least one ship belonging to a player. You cannot Launch to a region with another player's ship on your first Launch.

On subsequent Launches (when you already have ships on the board), you may Launch to a region that is within range of at least one of your other ships, using the launching ship’s range value.
You may Launch to an occupied region with opposing ships. Doing so may result in battle.

First Launch: Only to unoccupied regions.
Subsequent Launches: You may Launch into regions occupied by other players' ships.
